This armoured jacket is a beautifully constructed addition to your collection, to go with the Oda Gote or sleeves of which is purchased together with your order to attach to the Jacket, or warn sleeveless on its own. ( You will surely stand out from the norm for sure ). The Do-Maru has five Panels or sections that make up the Jacket, ( 1 Back Panels "Kachi Iro" ) - ( 2 Breast Panels "Hato-O-no ita" ) and ( 2 Waist Bands "Hara-ate" ) of which come together at the front, then securely tied into a single bow knot at the sternum. The two additional bows keeping the "Hato-o-no-ita and the "Hara-ate" can be untied, but for convenience are kept tied if taking on or off frequently.

We provide an addition layer of protection to the “Ninpo Yoroi”  adding a 3mm High Graded Alloy plating sewed into each individual “Karlta” or octagonal shape of which traditionally, is was armoured using compressed and lacquered paper in many Japanese combative uniforms or armour. The 3mm plate will give additional protection against cuts and slices to vulnerable areas of the body during combat, with similar protection to compressed lacquered paper used in traditional Samurai Armour. However, aluminium is very difficult to cut with a life blade, but it can deform on impact with one of which you need to consider? nobody want to be struck with a live blade, but it is better with some protection that without it at all?.
