Besuto Tactical Vest

The Besuto tactical vest or waistcoat comes fully adjustable to fit either slim or well built practitioners of the Shinobi arts, fitting either as a vest, over or under an existing garment, or purely on its own to support additional tactical gear.  

This Besuto was worn a type of surcoat by high-ranking samurai to compliment existing armor not only for protection against the elements, but also as a highly visible display of their status and their mon (family crest). Besuto are derived from a jacket known as a Janbaori, which was worn by important samurai beginning in the late sixteenth century and often incorporated fabrics imported from China or Europe.

The style, functionality, and practicality of our Besuto tactical waistcoat gives rise to an additional layer of protection along side traditional values, and focusing on tactical reinforcement alongside additional armour worn during field training or live blade practice.
